About MetaStar For more than 35 years, MetaStar has been a leader in health care quality improvement, case review services and medical information management through contracts with the state of Wisconsin, private clients and as the federally designated Quality Improvement Organization for Wisconsin.	Health Care Solutions MetaStar can help you make a difference in health care delivery. MetaStar provides services to meet the individual needs of health care providers in Wisconsin and nationwide. These include Medicaid EQRO/Family Care, quality improvement consulting, information management, independent medical review, HEDIS audits and consulting.	Points of Quality MetaStar is the designated Medicare Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) for Wisconsin under contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Our Medicare initiatives include quality improvement projects, case review and hospital data initiatives. Currently, we are working on the 9th Statement of Work contract, which focuses on pressure ulcer prevention, restraint use reduction, surgical infection prevention, preventive care topics and drug safety.
