External Quality Review

Applying MetaStar expertise in developing mechanisms to collect data for quality strategy and performance measures.

Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) is person-centered health and human services care that addresses the needs of people requiring assistance with everyday activities, enabling them to stay in their homes, rather than moving to a care facility.

MetaStar’s experienced team designs methods to evaluate HCBS program performance and quality. This includes things such as enrollee record reviews, and preparing accurate, reliable data to be used for reporting results to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Our experience includes working with a variety of waivers, including 1915(c), 1915(b), 1915(i), and 1915(j). The software development team creates secure web-based tools to gather results or reviews, providing data and narrative reports to identify strengths and opportunities at the agencies and statewide level. Results from reviews are used for performance measure reporting for the approved 1915 waivers for the state of Wisconsin.
