As MetaStar works to effect positive change in health and health care, we challenge ourselves, our partners, and our leaders to create a system that is safe, effective, efficient, patient-centered, timely, and equitable. We envision a system in which health and care disparities do not exist due to individual characteristics and structural inequities such as race, ethnicity, disability, and social class.
MetaStar has a multi-disciplinary DEI Steering Committee working to promote and foster an organizational culture that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive. The committee advises on issues, concerns, policies, and procedures related to building and sustaining a fair, equitable, healthy, and inclusive organization that aligns with and supports our workforce and the communities we serve.
