Description

Signed into law in 2016, the 21st Century Cures Act requires healthcare providers to offer patients timely and easy access to their electronic health information. The Information Blocking Rule applies to all healthcare providers, including those in behavioral health settings. The Assistant Secretary for Technology Policy (ASTP) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) enforce this rule. This webinar will examine the Information Blocking Rule, exceptions, and practical tips for compliance in behavioral health settings.
