The goal of the Behavioral Health (BH) Connect program is to assist Wisconsin Medicaid-enrolled behavioral health providers/organizations to implement, optimize, and improve care through the use of health information technology (IT).
MetaStar will provide support to:
- Implement health IT and ensure security,
- Optimize electronic health information to increase efficiency and satisfaction,
- Improve quality measures using data and technology.
Individualized one-on-one support with a project specialist includes:
- Electronic health record (EHR) selection, implementation, and optimization,
- Education and individualized support focused on using health IT to improve quality,
- Access to an online platform for resources and collaboration,
- Facilitation of required security risk assessment (SRA) and related training with risk mitigation support.
The BH Connect online community platform includes:
- Curated resources,
- Real-time and on-demand education,
- Peer-to-peer online collaboration,
- Best practice sharing.
